Apple Unveils iPhone 15 Series and Apple Watch Series 9 with Game-Changing Type-C Charging Port Debut

After a year of anticipation, Apple has finally unveiled its latest iPhones at the Wonderlust Event. The spotlight is on the brand-new iPhone 15 series, powered by the cutting-edge A17 Bionic chipset. What’s truly groundbreaking is the inclusion of a Type-C port in these iPhones, marking the first time Apple has embraced this technology. The event kickstarted with the grand unveiling of the Apple Watch Series 9, with none other than Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, taking the lead. This latest addition to the Apple Watch family boasts the formidable S9 chipset, making it the most powerful to date. A significant redesign has breathed new life into the watch’s aesthetics.

One notable feature of the Apple Watch Series 9 is the inclusion of a Digital Crown, enhancing its usability. The display shines with an impressive peak brightness of 2000 nits. Siri receives a significant boost in support, making it even more integral to the Apple Watch experience.

Apple Watch Ultra

Like last year, Apple Watch Ultra has also been introduced this time, and it was first launched with Watch Series 8. The peak brightness of Apple Watch Ultra, which allows comfortable screen visibility even in strong sunlight, is 3000 nits. Additionally, the double-tap and gesture control features have been provided. Concerning its battery life, there is a claim of 36 hours of backup, while in power-saving mode, the battery will last for 72 hours. Apple Watch SE has also been launched. All watches will be available for sale from September 22, and pre-booking has commenced today. The starting price of Apple Watch Ultra is $799, approximately Rs 66,212, and the starting price of Apple Watch Series 9 is $399, approximately Rs 30,064.

iPhone 15 Series

The introduction of Dynamic Island with the iPhone 15 series marks its continued evolution from its first appearance alongside the iPhone 14 series. Dynamic Island has undergone substantial enhancements, further enhancing the user experience.

The iPhone 15 Series boasts a stunning Super Retina XDR display with support for Dolby Vision, delivering exceptional visual quality. It features an impressive peak brightness of 2000 nits, ensuring clear visibility even in bright conditions. Building on the success of the iPhone 14 series, the iPhone 15 Series features a 48-megapixel camera, including a 2X telephoto lens, complemented by two 12-megapixel lenses. The 6.1-inch iPhone 15 and the 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus both offer Smart HDR and 4K cinematic mode for photography enthusiasts.

The pricing for the iPhone 15 starts at $799, while the iPhone 15 Plus begins at $899.

For those seeking a premium design, the iPhone 15 Pro shines with its Titanium construction. Remarkably, the iPhone 15 Pro is the lightest Pro model to date, offering a remarkable balance of form and function. It retains the 6.1-inch display of the previous generation, with the iPhone 15 Pro Max featuring a 6.7-inch screen. Interestingly, the screen size remains consistent with the previous Pro models of the iPhone 14 series, emphasizing Apple’s dedication to the user experience. Apple proudly mentions that the same titanium grade used in the new iPhone Pro model was employed in NASA’s Mars Rover, underlining the phone’s exceptional build quality.
