In the Redmi 12 series, both phones come with a 6.79-inch Full HD+ display featuring a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 450 nits, both protected by Gorilla Glass. In contrast, the Oppo A38 offers a 6.56-inch HD+ display with the same 90Hz refresh rate but a higher peak brightness of 720 nits, also safeguarded by Gorilla Glass 3.

Both phones sport a flat-edge design, with glass-finished bodies. The Redmi 12’s rear camera design resembles that of the iPhone, while Oppo’s phone adopts a camera design reminiscent of Oppo’s flagship models.
